Halloween Costume Spirit Day October 30th.
As we get ready for our Halloween spirit day, we want to remind everyone of our school's costume guidelines for this year:
- Costumes may not be worn to school in the morning. Students should come dressed in regular clothes and keep their costumes in their backpacks until lunch recess, when they'll have the opportunity to put them on over their regular clothing.
- Nothing scary, please. We want to ensure our younger students aren't frightened.
- Masks are allowed, but they may not be worn in the hallways.
- No weapons or weapon-like accessories are permitted.

Carrolls Book Fair is NEXT WEEK!
The Carrolls Book Fair will be here October 12–16. The Book Fair will be in the library. Please check in at the office first before heading to the Book Fair.

Families, please take a look at our Specialist Schedule so you know which days your child has PE, Music, and STEAM. Please remember that students need to wear tennis shoes on PE days so they can safely participate.

School starts at 8:40 AM. Students may arrive as early as 8:30 AM and will be monitored on the playground. Students will then go to their classrooms, where breakfast will be served.
Dismissal:
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 3:25 PM
• Wednesday: 1:55 PM
Please remember that parents are not allowed to walk students to their classrooms. If you have school supplies that need to be delivered to the classroom, please drop them off in the office.

Our school district participates in a federal program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which is part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. This means that all students attending Kelso School District schools are eligible to receive one breakfast and one lunch at no cost each school day throughout the 2026–2027 school year, regardless of family or household income.
However, some of the educational programs and services provided by the district are funded through state dollars that require schools to collect household income information for all students attending CEP schools.
Please complete and return the application even though your student will receive meals at no cost. Thank you for helping us ensure our district receives the funding needed to support our students!
