surplus sale

Surplus furniture, fixtures and equipment related to the Wallace Elementary School replacement are being offered for sale to the public. Surplus items include, but are not limited to: student and teacher desks, book shelves, chairs, tables, and kitchen furniture and equipment.

The public sale will take place at the old Wallace Elementary School (410 Elm Street, Kelso, WA 98626) beginning at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 7, 2021, and ending at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2021. Sealed bid items and bid forms will be posted online here, and available at the KSD Maintenance Office (612 Ash Street).

Items will be sold by either cash price or, for kitchen equipment, by sealed bid. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, with the bid form, to the Maintenance Office by 4:00 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Highest bidders will be notified that evening. 

Purchased items must be paid for and picked up no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2021. Sales are final, as-is, where-is, no returns, no refunds. The District will not be liable for injuries or damages to items, property, or personnel incurred during the moving and/or subsequent use of the items. Surplus will be conducted to meet state requirements as stated in RCW 28A.335.180.
