200 in, 750 more to go - Jun 27, 2019

Taken from a drone this morning, this photo shows one of nearly 1,000 piers being installed in the ground where the new Wallace Elementary will be built. You can’t tell by looking at it, but there are over 200 piers already in place.

If you look close, you can see pink flags showing where the piers that still need to be installed  (roughly 750 more) should go.  The process is going well and, with two rigs working, the soil stabilization work might be completed ahead of schedule. Each rig can place an average of 50 piers per day.
