Portable classrooms were delivered to the north side of Wallace Elementary today to accommodate construction. We plan to transition four classes into these portables during the Memorial Day intersession, and they’ll remain there until construction is complete.
Some play structures will be moved from the current playground south of the building into the yellow area next to the portables north of the building. This will be the play area during construction, which we anticipate to last through summer 2020. Pedestrian access and parking along 4th and 5th Avenues may be impacted at times during construction.
