Not being able to get the most use out of Schroeder Field because it would harm the grass was a concern voiced by so many in our community. Replacing the grass with synthetic turf to allow for expansion of use for school and community activities, classes, athletic teams, marching band, and events is in the bond plan. We’re excited to say that construction is planned this summer to install the turf and replace the field lighting.  Field Turf has been selected to install a reliable and quality product called Classic HD on the field, and Musco lighting.
