We are thrilled to announce David Starkey will be joining Rose Valley Elementary as principal, effective July 1, 2025.
With over a decade of experience in educational leadership, David brings a strong commitment to student achievement, collaborative school culture, and meaningful community engagement.
David most recently served as the principal of Columbia Elementary in Woodland, where his leadership earned the school an OSPI School of Distinction honor in 2025. Known for cultivating positive and inclusive environments, he has a proven record of strengthening Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), expanding student leadership opportunities, and boosting staff and student morale through intentional recognition and support systems.
