Enrichment Packets Headed to K-5 Families

The first round of learning enrichment packets will begin arriving at homes as early as today, Wednesday, April 1. Grades K, 1, and 2 packets were delivered to the post office on Tuesday afternoon. Grades 3, 4, and 5 will be delivered to the post office Thursday afternoon.

These first enrichment packets include the content areas of: ELA, Math, and Social Emotional Learning. These three focus areas were chosen because they align with the district strategic goals. Future packets may contain other subjects, as well.

Packets were mailed to the primary address listed in Skyward for each student and contain:

A sample of a weekly schedule

  • ELA reading and writing
  • Math problems with the teacher guide
  • Social emotional lessons

It is our hope that this work will provide your student the opportunity to stay active in their learning for the next three weeks. The next round of K-5 learning packets will be mailed to the primary address in Skyward starting the week of April 20th.

If your address in Skyward is not the mailing address you need the packet to go to, please email your teacher and let them know. Our teachers are currently working from home, so email is the only way to contact them.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate this challenging time. We’re all in this together.
