The Governor’s announcement on March 11 of moving into Phase 3 includes exciting changes in school spectator sports.  Below is information about how this change positively affects our upcoming football, soccer, and volleyball games.

CHANGES IN GAME DATES

  • Soccer and volleyball games against Prairie: Thursday, March 18
  • Homecoming football game against Camas: Friday, March 19

FOOTBALL (HOMECOMING) & SOCCER HOME GAMES
We are now able to have spectators in the Ed Laulainen Stadium at Schroeder Field up to 25% capacity.

This is exciting news for Homecoming—our final home football game of the season—and home soccer games.

Parents of participants (players, cheerleaders, band, and Homecoming candidates) and students will be contacted through their school email for information on tickets to the March 18 home soccer game and the March 19 Homecoming football game.

After taking into consideration all the above attendees, there will be 600 tickets remaining. Of those 600, Kelso School District season ticket holders will have first priority and will be contacted individually on how to get their tickets. The rest will be offered for general use. Watch for information on the Kelso High School website on Tuesday, March 16th.

VOLLEYBALL
Following physical distancing guidelines, we are able to accommodate 200 spectators for indoor games.

Parents of participants already have season passes.  Students will be contacted through their school email for information on how to acquire tickets to the March 18 game.
