2nd Annual Teal Out for Team Jules

Kelso High School’s 2nd Annual Teal Out for Team Jules will be a virtual event taking place February 4, 2021.

Kelso High School Pep Club students will be paying tribute to former Kelso High School graduate, Julia Hiatt, who lost her battle with cancer in 2019.  Julia had an enormous impact on the school and its climate and culture.  Julia was committed to Kindness and Gratitude and to paying forward.  On February 4, 2021, we will honor Julia and her values by asking the community to wear Teal or their Gratitude Gear and post to social media and to stand for kindness and do something to pay it forward out of the goodness of their hearts, just as Julia did.

KHS Pep Club will also be raising money for the Julia Hiatt Memorial Scholarship through the Kelso Public Schools Foundation.  This scholarship will be granted to a Kelso student who, like Julia, makes Kelso High a better place for their peers, believes in doing good for others just for the sake of being kind and a person who inspires others through, not only their actions, but just by being who they are.  Donations can be made online at https://wa-kelso-lite.intouchreceipting.com/JuliaHiattMemorialScholarship or in person at the KHS ASB office.

Please join our efforts to celebrate Julia and all she has given us.  Wear Teal, Pay it Forward.  Donate to the scholarship in her name.
