KHS had two girls competing is state bowling yesterday as individuals.
Lydda Aguilar, who took 9th in individuals, and Emily Strehle, who took 1st in individuals and is the Individual GSHL District Champion, both competed in the State tournament on Thursday, February 3.
Emily Strehle came back with a 2nd place win after bowling a four-game series of 765--just four pins off 1st place. Read all about it in this article from The Daily News.
As a team, Kelso took 3rd at Districts and misses out qualifying for State as a team by 47 pins.
