We are very pleased to announce that we have selected a lead principal for Lexington Elementary: Tim Yore.
Tim began serving the Kelso community in 1997 as a student teacher at Huntington Middle School. Since then, he’s taught at Barnes and Beacon Hill Elementary Schools, played a key role as a Teaching & Learning TOSA, served as a school-based instructional coach, and most recently lead the wonderful staffs as principal of Beacon Hill and Catlin Elementary Schools.
Tim’s 20+ years of experience have prepared him well for the critical role of opening our new, state-of-the-art elementary school. His dedication to our district and our community is clear and unfaltering. In a time where much is uncertain, of this we can be sure: the Lexington school, students, families, and staff will be in very great hands with Tim Yore at the helm.
