To prevent substance use and mental health disorders; when signs are present, to intervene early and appropriately; and when assessments indicate that treatment is required, to provide the right type of treatment, at the right place, by the right person/programs to help students achieve and maintain the highest quality of health and wellness.
Behavioral Health Services (BHS) are available to Cowlitz County students seeking mental health and substance use treatment through the Great Rivers Behavioral Health Organizations Continuum of Care. For more information on services available, please click here.
Now is the time to apply for a Boundary Exception (Choice) for the 2019-20 School Year
To ensure consideration for the 2019-2020 school year, a Boundary Exception (Choice) form must be completed and returned to the Kelso School District Student Services Department (601 Crawford Street in Kelso) by 4:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2019. Applications submitted after the deadline may not receive a decision until after the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
If you live within the Kelso School District boundary, but would like you student to attend a different school in Kelso, complete an In-District Boundary Exception form found HERE.
If you do not live within the Kelso School District boundary, but would like you student to attend a school in Kelso, complete a Student Transfer to Nonresident District form found HERE.
The Kelso School District takes the safety of all students, employees and patrons seriously.
