We will be having Parent Teacher Conferences on January 23rd and 24th. School will be dismissed at 1:00 on both days. Don't miss this opportunity for face-to-face discussions with your child's teachers about his/her progress. Conferences will be held in the Cafeteria/Commons area.

January 23rd: 1:15-3:00
January 24th: 6:00-9:00

Bond and Levy Information

Kelso kids deserve the best learning environment possible. That’s why you’ll see two important proposals on the February ballot: a bond measure and a replacement levy. What’s the difference? Bonds build buildings and levies are for learning. Bonds are used for building and maintaining schools while levy dollars are used for essential educational programs, maintenance and general district operations not funded by the state or federal government.

Learn more at WeAreKelso.org. And please remember to vote by February 13.

In Case of Inclement Weather

Last winter gave us a good reminder of how snow, ice and wind can impact our ability to conduct school activities as planned. Depending on the road conditions, any one of the following may happen: 1) School is delayed two hours. (Buses pick up students two hours later than normal; no breakfast or AM preschool) 2) School is canceled for the day. (All schools, activities and athletics are canceled for the day.) 3) School is dismissed early. (All activities and athletics are canceled.) For more information check out our Plan for Inclement Weather.

Changes to Senior Project Requirements

In order to earn a diploma and participate in graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2018 and beyond, students MUST fulfill all coursework and complete a community service project. Kelso High will no longer require a FORMAL presentation component of the Senior Project.

For more information on the changes to the Senior Project, please read Principal Gummel's letter to senior class parents.
