Parent Health Information Night

The Kelso School Board has adopted the State “Guidelines for Sexual Health Information and Disease Prevention.” The Policy, #2125, states the curriculum will include “Factual information regarding contraception and disease prevention” and “instruction in abstinence education”. Students in grades 4 through 12 are scheduled to receive this information in their PE, science, health, social studies, or biology class during the coming school year. We will be offering parents the opportunity to preview the materials. Remember—although your attendance is OPTIONAL, it is REQUIRED if you wish to excuse your child from this instruction. If you cannot attend your school meeting, or have questions, please contact your child’s teacher.

KHS Parent Preview Night: October 24th: 6:00-7:00. Kelso High School, in the Career Center.
