Apply For Off-Campus Classes

Have you ever thought about being a police officer, fire fighter, or health care professional?  If so, Kelso School District has a terrific opportunity for you!  Come by the Career Center to pick up an application for the police science, fire science, or health science off-campus programs offered to juniors and seniors for the 2016-2017 school year.  These classes offer responsible and dependable students an opportunity to experience real work environments, and they can possibly earn college credit as well.  If you have any questions, please see Denise Prescott in the Career Center, call 501-1838, or e-mail to denise.prescott@kelsosd.org. Applications must be turned in by April 15th.

Boundary Exception Enrollment Period

The enrollment period for parents wishing to apply for a Boundary Exception for the 2016-2017 School Year is the month of March. Parents who live outside of the district and wish to have their children attend Kelso Schools must apply each year for an exception. These applications are due by Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 4:00 PM. Parents who live in the Kelso School District but wish to have their children attend a school other than their neighborhood school will need to complete a Boundary Exception In-District Transfer application, unless the child attended the desired school in 2015/2016, in which case the transfer will renew automatically. PLEASE NOTE: the automatic transfer can be revoked if there are unresolved attendance or disciplinary issues.  If your child is currently on a transfer waiver you will be receiving a letter with detailed instructions. If you are new to the process or do not receive your letter, information can be found on the district website or by calling the Student Services Department at 501-1905. Applications received after the March 31st deadline may not be acted upon until after the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
