SENIORS:

HOMECOMING….

The homecoming dance is October 20th at KHS from 8-11PM. Tickets go on sale October 15-19th. Ticket prices are $20 for a single ticket and $30 for a couples ticket. If you have ASB you save $5 on your ticket price. Dress is semi formal and the theme is Hilanders in Love in Paris.

SPIRIT WEEK:

TOMORROW IS ………….BLUE & GOLD day

The theatre club has a lot going on this month, our play Arsenic and Old Lace opens November 1st, and we are doing our halloween fright night fundraiser October 27th it is 7-11 and admission is 5 dollars. see you there, visit g9 for any extra information.

DECA is putting on a humane society donation event through the 8th to the 24th. 

Things that can be donated is cat food with no red dye and dog food wet or dry. Dog and cat toys would great too! The Humane Society also loves volunteers. So let you Humane Society out.

Kelso DECA is having a coin drive fundraiser, a soccer and volleyball pink out game for the Susan G Koman Foundation. The soccer game is October 8th, Volleyball is October 10th, and the coin drive will be starting the 15th through the 19th. Come support breast cancer at both games! Hope to see you there!

STUDENT DRIVERS:

A parking permit is NOW required to be displayed in the windshield of your vehicle to park in the KHS lot. Every vehicle you drive needs its own permit, no swapping permits from car to car. Pick up your application and turn in paperwork in the Main office along with current insurance and your drivers license. Parking application will be taken all year long for new drivers. Please only park on the yellow K’s painted throughout the parking lot.

If you want to ride the bus home with a friend you will need your parents to give this info to the office staff for your bus permit to be approved:

-Your name

-Name of the student you will be riding home with

-Bus number of the student you are riding with

-The address of the student where you will be dropped off

*If your parent does not supply ALL OF THESE ITEMS……..your bus permit will be denied!!!

If you are a sophomore, junior or senior with positive attitudes, a good GPA and attendance, this could be for you. Please see Ms.Knowles in the Counseling Center for an application.
