Please only park on the yellow K’s painted throughout the parking lot.
NEW STUDENT SUPPORT-
Ken Davis is working in the role of Chemical Dependency Professional Supervisor. He will be working with students in a variety of ways, including substance use issues as they arise. A program will be developed offering a variety of support for students, and he feels that participation will be beneficial to students in the following ways:
- Developing self awareness and self understanding
- Building confidence and self-esteem
- Developing positive relationships with their peers and significant people in their lives
- Gives students an opportunity to talk about their concerns
- Help develop strategies that will strengthen their abilities in dealing with their own issues
- Help deal with issues that may interfere with their readiness to learn
Promote drug and alcohol awareness, education, and treatment when needed.
Mr. Davis has been working with adolescents for over 12 years, starting at KHS in the middle of October. Before transferring to KHS, he worked with the students at Monticello Middle School in Longview, at McLoughlin Middle School in Vancouver WA and has previous treatment application experience with both teens and adults. He is looking forward to continuing to engage within our community, and helping the students at Kelso achieve not just their educational goals, but also the personal goals and accomplishments students are setting for themselves. If you have any questions about these services, please do not hesitate to contact him at Kelso High School. By phone, 360-501-1996 or via email email@example.com
