Welcome to the Gaither Pool "Learn to Swim" program. This webpage will help answer any questions you may have and also offers several suggestion that may be beneficial to you and your child. Choose a level from the menu on the left to find out more information about each class skill level we provide.

Preschool Water Acquaintance Class
Tots 4 and 5 years of age. Ten classes per session, Monday through Friday. Student/Teacher ratio is 4 to 1.

Youth Swimming Lessons
Children ages 6 and older (or at least 3-1/2 feet tall). Ten classes per session, Monday through Friday. Student/Teacher ratio is 6 to 1.

Private Lessons
One on one instruction with an instructor.

Semi-Private Lessons
Two students at the same ability level with one instructor. Click here for more Informati-on.

Our Goal as Swim Instructors

Our goal at Gaither Pool is to make our lessons as enjoyable as possible. We do not teach by force. Due to the time, effort and expense invested by you, we wish your child to progress as rapidly as possible. We will be firm and fair, but your child's determination and physical ability are many times the factors to success. If you believe that your child needs to be challenged a bit harder than you have observed, please bring your concerns directly to the instructor or pool manager. You know your child best.
