An amazing crowd of 300 parents and Bluejay racers braved the wind and rain to participate in the 11th Annual Turkey Trot Wednesday. Many school records crumbled as the pack of turkeys kept a great pace. A special thank you to the Butler Acres PTO, Kelso Safeway, and The Pro Shop for providing some outstanding
prizes. First place in grades K-3 and 4-5 took home the tasty bird, second the pumpkin pie, and third place the sparkling apple cider. Racers brought in food donations to benefit Community House in Longview, WA


Josh’s time of 3:33 broke the Boy’s 1/2 Mile record! Emmitt’s 1 Mile time of 6:57 and Ethan’s time of 7:05 put them 2nd & 3rd All-time best! Kahler’s time of 3:51 broke the Girl’s 1/2 Mile record! Tally’s time of 3:53 put her as the 2nd All-time best!
