Childfind Screening:

The Kelso School District provides Childfind services for the purpose of locating, evaluating and identifying students who may have a disability who reside in our district. These services are available to all children from birth to age 21.

Childfind screenings take place each month at Barnes Elementary. At the screenings, Kelso staff check students ages 3-5 for cognitive, motor, speech and language, hearing and vision. Dates for the 2009-10 screenings appear below.

If you suspect your child has a disability, information about these services is available from bulding administrators or the Special Programs office at 501-1904. (WAC 392-172-100)
