Internet Explorer Compatibility Issue: Are the menus not working for you?

Some users may have difficulty navigating our website menus when using the latest version Internet Explorer (IE11). This can be avoided by selecting "Compatibility mode" and adding web addresses into an exception box.. (If you are having trouble, navigate to the top and choose to show your Menu Bar. From there, select Tools.) This site works well using Google Chrome Browser which can be downloaded here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser

Final Brown Bag Lunch with Superintendent MacGregor 
Rescheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2014

Mark your calendars!

The final brown bag lunch with the superintendent that was originally scheduled for May 13 has been moved to Tuesday, June 3. The public is invited to join us for Dr. MacGregor’s final Brown Bag to share your ideas about the direction and future of Kelso Schools. Meetings are held from 12-1pm in the board room of the district office. Please bring your own lunch.

 


Barnes & Carrolls Receive Washington Achievement Awards

The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the State Board of Education have granted Barnes and Carrolls Elementary Schools each Washington Achievement Awards. The Washington Achievement Award is a part of the State Board’s accountability program adopted in 2009, established to celebrate the state’s top-performing schools and to recognize achievement in multiple categories.  The award is highly selective and based on a school’s performance according to the Washington Achievement Index. Assessment for High Capability

KSD is beginning the process of determining eligibility for the District's Highly Capable Program for the 2014/15 school year. Over the next few weeks, all 2nd grade students will be given the CogAT 7 Test to gauge initial eligibility to be served in the program. For additional information please click here.


Child Screening :: April 30, 2014

Child screening will take place on April 30, at Catlin Elementary School for children 3-5 years old who reside in the Kelso School District and who have not yet entered Kindergarten.
