Beginning in September of the 2013-2014 School Year, all secondary schools in the Kelso School District will change from the monthly Thursday late start schedule to every Wednesday 1:00 pm early release. Parent U is a new program designed especially for parents of children birth to high school. Their mission is to connect parents with experts who can provide guidance and resources they need to keep their children safe, healthy and engaged in school. Kelso School District rolled out a new Strategic Plan, Roadmap for Results, at the beginning of 2013 and held a Community Forum on March 7th this year to allow the Kelso community to better understand goals and action plans set in place and to receive feedback on progress made thus far.
